1. Click the Download link.
2. Click <Run> on the File Download - Security Warning if prompted.

   

3. Click More info on the Windows protected your PC dialog if prompted.

   

4. Click <Run anyway> on the Windows protected your PC dialog.

   

5. Click <Next>.

   

6. Select the installation folder and click <Next>.

   

7. Click <Next>.

   

8. Click <Yes> on the User Account Control window if prompted.

   

9. Click <Close>.

   

10. Double-click the RepairWriter 5 icon on the desktop.
11. Click <Yes> to download & install the update.

    

    

12. Accept the license agreement and click <Okay>.

    

13. Enter the Registered To information, product key and click <Validate>.

SQL Server/Express

1. Select File, Database, Utilities, Open (Alt + F, D, U, O) from the main drop-down menu.
2. Click the Attach New Databases link.

   

3. Select the SQL Server Instance Name & any other parameters and click <Attach>.

   

4. Click <OK>.

   

5. Select the 'RW4' database and click the Test Connection link.

   

6. Click <OK>.

   

Access

1. Select File, Database, Utilities, Open (Alt + F, D, U, O) from the main drop-down menu.
2. Select the RW5 data folder and click the Test Connection link.

   

3. Click <OK>.

   

SQL Server

1. Install the program as shown above.  Do not import RepairWriter 4.5 data on a Workstation installation.
2. Select File, Database, Utilities, Open (Alt + F, D, U, O) from the main drop-down menu.
3. Select the SQL Server Instance Name, database name & any other parameters and click the Test Connection link.

   

4. Click <OK>.

   

5. Click <Open>.

Access

1. Install the program as shown above.  Do not import RepairWriter 4.5 data on a Workstation installation.
2. Select File, Database, Utilities, Open (Alt + F, D, U, O) from the main drop-down menu.
3. Select the path where the RepairWriter data resides, the database and click the Test Connection link.

   

4. Click <OK>.

   

5. Click <Open>.
